Any Day Now

Today 2/28/10 I am officially 36 weeks, 9 months pregnant. Avani will be full term on 3-7-10 and her due date is 3-28-10. Although her due date is not exact, doctors predict babies can come within 2 weeks before or after the due date. Lately I've been looking into ways to naturally induce my labor, but I'll just stick to taking walks. I keep telling myself Avani is coming when she is ready, I hope she is as anxious to meet her family as we are to meet her. I just hope when she does come, her delivery will be swift and safe and I will deliver a healthy beautiful baby.

Sincere apologies to all for the confusion.. Choosing a name for the baby was quite a task. My ultimate choice has always been Avani Amour Reaves, but daddy wanted Jordan. We butted heads for a few months then we agreed upon Lyrik Marie.. Lyrik wasn't favorable upon any of our parents, although I had become attached to it. So, I guess Grandma Reaves was able to convince her son that Avani would better suite the baby and not to mention it is a beautiful name. To compromise, her name will be Avani Jordan Reaves. The origin of the name Avani is Indian (Sanskirt) and it means earth. The origin of the name Jordan is Hebrew and it means to flow down. However, I personally want to add a feminine touch to it by altering the spelling of Jordan to Jordyn. Maybe I'll get my way with that too!!
